One segment of my course involved the study of interactive narratives. My three teammates and I were given three weeks to create an interactive narrative on the Ipod touch. In this time we had to create the concept, conduct usability tests, design the interactions, create artwork, and deliver the final working product. Our final product was developed using images and video shots of different puppet acts. The program used to put it together was Dreamweaver using html and action script. We were applauded for taking a serious narrative and delivering something so quirky and funny (unintentionally at times and making good use of the accelerometer). My favorite aspect of this project was being able to create my own choose your own adventure game(because I am a nerd).
